Toenails are considered to be one of the most valuable parts of human beauty. Even in some customs the toes are being decorated for some special occasions, for example, wedding. But sometimes some little fungus can harm the beauty of our toes. The nail fungus is one of the biggest invaders that enters any territory and treat it as their homeland.

Fungi are basically very tiny organism that are neither under the category of animals nor in that of plants. These have undeveloped roots with no leaves. Most of them do not possess the ability to photosynthesize and they rely on other substrate for their food requirements. One of the favored substrate for human fungus is keratin as it forms a well moistened base through which it can easily access its food supplements.

In Toenail Fungus basically corrodes the hard and tough keratin and exposes the soft tissues of the nail. The process of toenail fungus begins by the yellowing of nails. Then it’s the lunula part that shows some discoloration. This discoloration shows brighter or darker portion depending on the skin color. The nail gets more and more of yellow as time go on. For this one need to keep the toenail clean, exposed and dry. If the fungus grow beyond this, then the toenail need to be removed.
